Flu jabs are available at the surgery from Oct every year!!

As you know, the cold and flu season is just around the corner. Although many colds will be tough to prevent, vaccination is an effective way to protect you from the flu.

Your GP highly recommends that you have a Flu Vaccination, particularly if you qualify under the criteria as shown below

If you are eligible (see below) you can to book your appointment with the Practice Nurse from September by calling the surgery on 0208 693 2912 or you walk in.

You are eligible to receive a FREE FLU JAB if you if you have the following conditions:

Chronic respiratory disease including asthma

Heart disease

Kidney disease

Diabetes

Weakened Immune system

Liver disease

Neurological disease

Or If:

You are 65 years old and over

You are pregnant

You are the main carer for elderly or disabled person

You are a health care worker

Appointments

The practice has an appointments system in place. Please telephone the receptionist during surgery hours to book a routine appointment with the available doctor on duty. For emergency appointments we ask that you contact the practice during the time 8:00-8:45am Monday through Friday. Our practice is a part of IHL (Improving Health Limited) and are able to offer you appointments at the Lister Clinic. 

Telephone Consultations

If you are unable to attend the surgery and need medical advice, please contact the surgery to schedule a telephone consultation with a Doctor. We maintain patient confidentiality at all times. So please note we would not give information about you to someone else without your written consent.

Interpreters

Please note that if you require an interpreter for your consultation there may be two weeks waiting list to see the doctor. Please make your needs clear to the receptionist so that they can arrange it for you.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
